It’s the final day of the 15th BRICS summit. President Cyril Ramaphosa kicks off proceedings with a press briefing announcing the outcomes of the summit. the BRICS-Africa Outreach & BRICS Plus Dialogue comprising over 40 Heads of State & Government will also take place today.

Update: We must bring affordable electricity to everyone on earth especially to Africa while simultaneously reaching net-zero electricity by 2035 in developed countries and 2040 elsewhere.

Update: Ramaphosa: We have decided to invite the Argentine Republic, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Federeal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates to become full members of BRICS.
