World no longer deceived by Israeli lies, says Palestinian reporter

Occupied Gaza Strip – Despite many attempts by the Israeli government to dispute the weaponised starvation, mass killings of Palestinian civilians and aid workers by Israeli forces, and the total blockade of Gaza, Palestinian journalist Osama Nazzal says the world is no longer buying into the deception.

He said the famine in Gaza is not the result of a natural disaster or infrastructure collapse, but a deliberate strategy designed to exterminate. Starvation, he warned, has become a method of war.

“It is the worst starvation ever in modern history made by human beings, made by the state, by the Israeli occupation entity,” he said.

“This starvation that is imposed by the political system on the people of Gaza is a blow and a slap in the face of humanity because humanity is silent on such a starvation that is part and parcel of the Israeli war against the Palestinian people.”

Nazzal said Israel is deliberately targeting civilians — including children, women, and the elderly — not for their actions, but simply because they are Palestinian. He described the policy as systematic, calculated, and without precedent.

“We are not talking about natural disasters,” he said. “We are talking about the Israeli systematic and methodical policies that are based on either we kill the Palestinians by bombing them, by shooting them and burying them alive, or by starving them.”

He rejected claims by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Hamas is to blame for aid disruptions.

According to Nazzal, the Israeli state is fabricating excuses to mask its actions. At the same time, the truth is increasingly visible to the world.

“The person who has the readiness and the decision to commit genocide against an entire nation would not hesitate to give lies to the world,” he said.

“But the Israeli occupation Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu understands well that he can’t deceive the world anymore.”

Nazzal also criticised the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, a U.S.-backed aid initiative, calling it a trap designed to degrade and endanger Palestinians. He said families are forced to walk for kilometres at night in search of food, only to be met with gunfire.

“When they get there, they don’t find food,” he said. “What they find are the bullets and the bombs prepared by the Israeli forces against them.”
