The first-of-its-kind event will take place on the 25 February 2018 on Uncle Ebie’s Farm located just 3km from the Lenasia CBD in the open, tranquil fields across the Lawley Railway Station.
The mountain bike race will have a 35km route, a 15km route and a 3km track. There are mega prizes for the winners. The 1st prize in the 35km race is R3000 and 2nd prize R2000. In the 15km race the winner will get R1000. There are many other smaller prizes up for grabs as well.
There will also be fun activities for the kids. Horse riding and archery will be available for those wanting to participate in the classical sports. A wide range of shopping stalls with exciting and great sales will have you engrossed. Don’t forget to try the “Inflatable Gauntlet” and “SkyRocket”.
Funds raised through the event will be used for South African education initiatives and forms part of a larger project.

Last year Vadi rode from Musina to Cape Town for the same cause. The inaugural #Riding4SAeducation campaign resulted in approximately 1000 pairs of school shoes, 2500 stationery packs, school uniforms, hundreds of reusable sanitary pads, school kitchen appliances and even a computer lab reaching the most deserving learners across South Africa.
